6 movies I want to see this year

It's almost fall and that means more time for movies! Spending less time outside and more inside the house. or in the cinema of course ;). Here's an overview of some 2017 movies I'd absolutely love to see this year. Let me know in the comment what you will watch this year!

1. Mother

I know Mother is already out in cinemas now. But I haven't watched it yet. Mother is drama/ horror movie directed by Darren Aronofsky. He also directed Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream.  I've heard mix reviews about Mother. But ever since I saw it on a list of 'most disturbing movies ever made' I knew I had to see it! I'm planning on going to cinema next week. Curious? Check out the official trailer below.

2. Cult of Chucky

Well, this movie won't make it to the cinema. I still want to see it though. I totally love Chucky! I own a Chucky doll and all the Chucky movies. I don't think all the Chucky movies are great. I didn't like the Seed of Chucky and Curs of Chucky. But still, I'm curious for the new movie. My expectation aren't high. But I háve to see it! Check out the official trailer below!

3. Jigsaw

Well, I actually can say the same for Jigsaw as I said for Chucky. I just love the Jigsaw movies. I don't think they're all great. But I can't stop watching. Especially with the Saw movies, I'm always curious to see which assignments they have thought of this time! I'm glad to see Tobin Bell again in this movie. I met him at Weekend of Hell a couple of years ago. That was awesome! Can't wait to see the new Jigsaw movie. Check out the official trailer below!

4. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

This is something to look forward to every year! I love that we're getting to see a new Star Wars movie in December again. I can't wait!

The last 2 movies haven't disappointed me. So I'm really hopeful for December again! And did you know you can meet Mark Hamill in October 2017 at New York Comic Con?

5. Justice League

Last year, I went to see Suicide Squad in the cinema. Liv and I wrote a duo review about it. This year, DC presents the Superhero team in this movie. I'm curious to see the movie! I'm not sure yet how much to expect, but I'll watch it anyway! Want to see the official trailer? Check it out below!

6. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Jumanji, oh I loved that movie! Robin Williams was awesome. I'm not sure if I'll still like a Jumanji movie. Especially one without Robin. But: I jut want to see what they what they're making of it. Hopefully I'll be surprised by an awesome movie! I do stink the story of Jumanji has so much possibilities! When I look at the trailer I'm a bit afraid there are too many predictable jokes. We'll see..  Official trailer below!

Wow the first three movies in the list are horror movies.. I used to watch horror movies a lot but I don't anymore. The Justice league and Jumanji are the one I am waiting for anxiously :D Hoping both would be a block buster :)

Jumanji will never be the same without Robin Williams, I think. It may be better. It may be worse but it won't be the same for sure. Robin Williams breathed an inimitable zing to that flick. There are some movies that you just can't imagine with anyone else except the one who immortalised it for you. Robin did it for me.

How could I have missed these?! I grew up on Chucky, and practically love jigsaw (even though it can be cheesy sometimes). You're right lol, expectations can't be high for chucky or saw because they're more comedy horror than just straight horror. The trailer is dope though. I'm really looking forward to it!

Mother seems like a total f****d up movie and that makes it a priority in the watching list. Super excited for Star Wars, Justice League and Jumanji. It's been a long time that I watched anything in theater. So glad these are coming by Dec.

I think I saw the jumanji movie but that was many years ago, not the latest one. Oh that Starwars will definitely on my list as well.

Yes! Fall and spring are my favorite seasons. Long evenings with scented candles, good wine, and Netflix. Star Wars is definitely a good bet. Also from your recommendations, I´ll check out Jumanji and see if the jokes are too many.

I don't like horror movies, and there are only two of them I watched in my entire life, and both of them were because of a lost bet. So, the first three on the list will easily be skipped by me in the cinemas. But the last three are absolutely a must. My boyfriend simply adores Star Wars, and I always have to watch it with him. Justice League is because we both love hero movies, and the last one is because I loved Robin Williams in the first part. So, as you said, fall is all about movies. Can't wait!!

That's a nice list! I used to love horror movies when I was younger, but I don't like watching them now.
The last jedi and Mother are on my watchlist too :)

This is really cool that they are making a remake of Jumanji. I remember watching the original movie, with Robbin Williams, when I was a child. It was so scary for me back then, as I was just a child. But when I rewatched it later I so enjoyed it. I would love to see Mother as well, especially that it's been made by the same director as Require for a dream. That movie is so powerful, one of the best if you ask me. I love how he plays with the story and the perspective in it.

I see myself opting for the 4 and 5 from the list. Though I am so tempted to see the first three as well, I am afraid I may end up too scared to even sleep alone in my bedroom. Sometimes, watching horror or suspense movies is best when alone because others wouldn't laugh at you at your every jerk and jump because of the scary scenes.

I'm looking forward to watching Justice League and Jumanji with my kids. I'd like to check out Mother as well but I feel like I have to be prepared to watch it. It looks like a heavy watch. I think there are a lot more movies to look forward to as well just can't recall at the moment.

I’m curious about Jumanji. I hope the movie won’t just be a stupid popcorn movie. Justice League also has great pressure after the awesomeness of Wonder Woman! I hope the new Star Wars movie won’t have any retreads.

When it comes to jumanji.. maybe (hopefully) it's just the trailer. Maybe they can do the jokes beautifully like how it happened with the Avengers 1 and 2. I am also excited for justice league, which is weird because I'm a marvel gal and not DC. But they did awesome with Wonderwoman and I might just have a change of heart, you know? :D
