If songs were about comic con

Can you name a few songs about comic cons? Me neither. That would be great though, wouldn't it? No worries! Today we're making our own comic con play list. Because... what if.. what if these songs WERE about comic con? Sometimes we just have to change a few words....

Self Control - Bebe Rexha

How hard i it, to NOT buy anything at comic con? To just walk around and get no photo ops. Or no autographs. Well, once we're at comic con, we lose all self control! In many ways haha. In spending money: When we're very happy to see our favorite actors, suddenly these prices for photo ops seem peanuts. And also: You all know our tagline Ëxcited is an understatement". At comic con, we lose all self control and were dancing, singing, acting crazy. So... let's have a look at the song Self Control, of Bebe Rexha! The actual song goes like this:

One little kiss, can turn into a thousand

One little touch and I'm gone

Got no self control

And I don't mean cigarettes and alcohol

Cause when it comes to you I can't say no

I don't wanna taste, I want it all

I'm so predictable

Fall every time, ain't it pitiful

And it's not enough

I tried to quit

But I'm giving up

Well, this song could easily be about comic con right? Let's just change some really small details:

One little hug, can turn into a thousand

One little pic and I'm gone

Got no self control

And I don't mean cigarettes and alcohol

Cause when it comes to comic con I can't say no

I don't wanna save, I want it all

I'm so predictable

Fall every time, ain't it pitiful

And it's not enough

I tried to quit

But I'm giving up

Happy - Julia Michaels

Next subject! We all know the thing we fear the most: The after comic con dip! It's terrible. It really is.

That's were Julia Michaels come in. We're she sings about relationships, we're actually thinking of comic con! Let's have a look at the original lyrics:

I'm sending out texts at 4 a.m.

I'm not desperate, I just want somebody's skin

In my denim 'cause it helps me feel something

And sometimes I think I kill relationships for art

I start up all this shit to watch 'em fall apart

I pay my bills with it, I watch 'em fall apart

Then pay the price for it, I watch 'em fall apart, but

I just want to be fucking happy

Now... we don't talk about relationships! We just want to get back to comic con. Soon!!

I'm sending out texts at 4 a.m.

I'm not desperate, I just want back to comic con

In the train 'cause it helps me feel something

And sometimes I think I leave comic con for art

I start up all this shit and then fall apart

I ignore my bills for it, and then fall apart

Then pay the price for it, 'cause I fall apart, but

I just want to be at fucking comic con

You need to calm down - Tayor Swift

Next subject! Throw away the after comic con dip! Now, a song that perfectly fits one of our comic con frustrations: People that are talking loudly during panels. often, people want to make sure to have a goo seat at the panel of their favorite actor. So they decide to go and sit there early: During another panel. And then they decide it's the pérfect moment to discuss their whole week with their friends... Well, if you do that, we''ll be full on Taylor Swift. Keep quiet during panels! YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN. Original text:

I ain't tryna mess with your self-expression

But I've learned a lesson that stressin' and obsessin' 'bout somebody else is no fun

And snakes and stones never broke my bones

You need to calm down, you're being too loud

And I'm just like

You need to just stop

Like can you just not

step on my gown?

You need to calm down

You are somebody that we don't know

But you're comin' at my friends like a missile

Why are you mad?

When you could be glad (You could be glad)

Our thoughts:

 I ain't tryna mess with your self-expression

But I've learned a lesson that stressin' and obsessin' in somebody else's panel is no fun

And snakes and stones never broke a panel

You need to calm down, you're being too loud

And I'm just like

You need to just stop

Like can you just not

step on my gown?

You need to calm down

You are somebody that we don't know

But you're comin' at this panel like a missile

Why are you loud?

When you could be quiet (You could be quiet)
