We went to FACTS fall 2025!

FACTS weekends always start the same for us: way too early, way too excited, and with a car full of “Did we pack everything?” energy. This year was no different. The moment we arrived in Ghent, we knew it was going to be a good one. And honestly? It was even better than we hoped. Entering FACTS was so easy. No stress. Before we knew it, we were inside. We immediately wandered off to explore the halls.

Exploring FACTS

One of our first stops: the Kinepolis Wicked booth. We are so excited for this movie, so of course we had to jump in for some fun photos. We cannot wait to see Wicked on the big screen. This booth was such a great way to kick off the day!

Next up: a visit to the Belgian Potterheads. Always such a warm, welcoming group with so many magical details around their stand. We love stopping by, chatting, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Potter vibes? Always a win.

One of the absolute highlights was something we didn’t expect:

Suske en Wiske cut outs everywhere!

And what did we do?

We made it our mission to find as many as possible and take pictures with them.

Did we look like excited kids on a comic treasure hunt?

Yes.

Did we care?

Absolutely not.

We LOVED it.

Panels

Then it was time for our first big panel of the day: Emily Bett Rickards.

Both of us have watched Arrow, so seeing Emily live was so great. It was our first time seeing her at an event and she was funny, sweet, and everything we hoped for. Definitely a moment we won’t forget.

The next panel on our list: Cobra Kai! Mary Mouser and Tanner Buchanan were such a fun duo on stage. Great energy, great stories, and such good chemistry. After the panel, Liv met Tanner for a photo—super nice moment and he was really friendly.Later on, Liv also went for a selfie with Mary. She was so kind!

Haunted maze

And then… something totally different: Haunted Maze Belgium.
If you’ve never heard of it: it's a walk-through horror maze filled with actors, theming, jump scares, and atmosphere. Basically: you’re starring in your own mini–horror movie.

We LOVED this.
It was so well set up, surprisingly intense at moments, and honestly such a cool addition to a comic con. More of this, please!

Panel and photo op

Next up was the always-iconic John Barrowman. If you’ve seen him at conventions before, you know: you’ll laugh, you’ll be entertained, and you’ll get moments you absolutely didn’t expect. He brought the energy as always.

And then it was time for one of our biggest highlights of the day:

A photo with Emily Bett Rickards AND John Barrowman. OMG. Still not over it. Excited is an understatement.

Loved the vibe!

Of course, in between all the panels and photo ops we did what everyone does at FACTS: checking out merch, chatting with friends, and enjoying all the amazing decoration! Before leaving we chilled out at the Asmodee area to play some games. Always a fun reset after the chaos of a convention day. We love ending a con day like this—laughing, playing, and enjoying the last bits of the atmosphere.

FACTS once again proved why it’s one of our favorite events. Panels, photos, surprises, amazing guests, great organization, and so many good vibes. We already can’t wait for the next edition.
