It's comedy time!! Are you ready for a comedy tv series? Meet Jane! Jane loves her mother Xiomara and grandmother Alba. Jan is a young and religious woman. She has a boyfriend named Michael. But she's saving her virginity until marriage. By mistake, she gets artificially inseminated during a checkup. She ends up pregnant. The father? A married man (Rafael). A man she had once a crush on. A man who owns the hotel Jane works for. That's the start of Jane's story! She's a pregnant virgin. How do you deal with being suddenly pregnant? Suddenly she has to deal with Rafael, his wife and his family as well.
My opinion
Jane the Virgin is an interesting and entertaining story. The main characters are fun to watch and the story is easy to follow. For me it's mainly a nice 'in between' series. When I have a free moment, I can watch Jane the Virgin. It's quite easy to remember how the story line went and start watching it again. it's amusing and I like the actors. The series always starts with the narrator giving a summary f the story. In a nice and entertaining way. Fun to see, and easy to catch up! It's so funny how the narrator does this. I can't even type this, without thinking this in his voice haha. Jane's grandmother and mom are great in the story as well! Excellent characters and fun to watch. I think Jane's mom is awesome. The concept of the story is nice. I was immediately curious how Jane would handle this. I am curious though, how they will handle that in long run to keep the story interesting. Season 4 will premiere in October 2017!
The actors
Gina Rodriguez plays the role of Jane Villanueva. I didn't know her before watching Jane the virgin. But I do think she does an amazing job in portraying Jane. Maybe you know her for the Bold and the Beautiful (Beverley), Army Wives (Marisol) or Deepwater Horizon (Andrea). A list of the other actors in the series is:

OMG! I was actually excited to know what do you think about this series. I have been watching this because of how light it can be about some serious matters. Also, we're on the same page with the narrator especially this season! Anyway, I didn't know Gina too before; just only after I started watching Jane the Virgin and I am liking this more and more. Curious though, have you met someone from this series?

I used to watch this series with my husband. I love that the lead actress isn't your typical one. It's been awhile so maybe we should start watching again. I'm rooting for Rafael. I still wonder though how it would play out in real life if a woman was artificially inseminated. Hmm, really interestng plot.
