Riley Parks is married to Kyle. They have 2 children. A boy and a girl. Kyle and Riley are having money trouble and need to find a job soon. Riley eventually finds a job as a masseuse. Not much later, Riley comes home and discovers Kyle left her and the children. Now Riley is on her own. She needs to take care of the mortgage, the kids, all the bills. To make enough money she agrees to offer a bit more than just massages.. As from that moment on, she's leading a double life. The series is based on the movie the Client List (2010).
How about the actors?
The lead role (Riley Parks) is for Jennifer Love Hewitt. I knew her already for the I Know What You Did Last Summer movies. She also starred in Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, Party of Five and much more! I was also already familiar with the actress who plays spa owner Georgia: Loretta Devine. Do you watch Grey's Anatomy? Well, Loretta is known for playing Adele Webber (Richard's wife) on the show!
Other actors in the series are Colin Egglesfield (Evan), Cybill Shepherd (Linette), Rebecca Field (Lacey). Alicia Lagano (Selena) and Brian Hallisay (Kyle).
Who will like this?
The client list is a drama series. It's a series you can easily watch. it's not hard to follow. I think it's an excellent in between series. I just finished the Vampire Diaries (As far as I can watch). And now I don't know which series I want to watch yet. And the Client list is just a nice for in between bigger series haha. I don't really have to focus or pay a lot attention. I can just watch it while doing other stuff. It's funny to watch and mainly just amusing.
How many seasons?
There were 2 seasons! (2012 - 2013).
It's a nice and amusing series. It's not the best I've ever seen. But it'just nice to have something to watch that is easy to follow. I watch it mostly when I'm also doing other things. Then still I can keep track of everything that happens. The actor are nice. And there's a nice mix of funny & drama. I have watched season 1 and am now watching season 2. I like watching it. But it's not that I can't wait to see how it develops.
Anyone here who also watched this series? What's your favourite series? Have been addicted to a series? What series (or genres) would you like to see in Series Tip of the Week?
